Let me start off by saying that if I was to ever own a restaurant, this would be the sign by the entrance.
For the time that I had been going to Big Square, I had never thought of trying their ribs which, from the menu board, looked sinfully delicious! So one day, after a trip to Naivasha, my friend and I decided to give it a try. This is the best thing that happened to mankind since sliced bread!
So it was only befitting that we pay Biggie a second visit. This time, we opted to try out the Lavington branch. I tagged my colleagues along…they too had to experience this utamu! The unsatisfactory service from the lady at the cash till was not going to dampen our spirits.
When this was brought to the table, we only managed to take one or two shots. It was time to dig in!
Each of us had a single rack with fries. The portions are filling and you can choose to either have the honey barbeque or chilli barbeque sauce on your ribs. I have only tried out the honey barbeque ribs…Yummers!
These melt-in-your-mouth ribs go for Kshs.850/- for a single rack of 5 ribs (which comes with fries by the way). So, the next time you are in Biggie, as I so like to call it, make sure you order the ribs… You will not be disappointed.
- Always ask for the chip dip. Everything tastes 50x better with chip dip!
- Biggie also sells alcohol. You can enjoy a cold beer with your meals.
- There is free wi-fi. Carry your lappie and get your work done as you munch on your food.
- You can order meals from Biggie directly or through Hellofood which I believe has more coverage in terms of delivery.
